Conceptual work for Huawei innovation center, ideating around improving the commuting experience.
As the automotive industry shifts toward autonomous technologies, the commuting experience is poised for transformation. Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian interior design and emerging EV trends, this project reimagines the vehicle interior as a refined, adaptive living space. The result is an elegant yet comfortable environment that enhances the ride for both drivers and passengers—designed to seamlessly adapt to individual needs and daily routines.
This project is based on a millennial family living in the suburbs — a location that balances city access with nature, in a car-dependent culture. The target users are parents aged 35–45 who prioritize work-life balance and value family time outdoors. The design addresses two key scenarios: the daily commute to work and school, with attention to pain points and carry needs; and weekend trips beyond the city, which demand greater storage, comfort, and flexibility for longer journeys.
